Peta completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 2004 and spent the majority of her nursing career in surgical nursing. She then completed her Masters of Nurse Practitioner Studies in 2016. Peta has also completed a specialty qualification in Urology and Continence Nursing with La Trobe University.

With her specialty in Urology, Peta worked closely with Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Urologists, devoting her time to men and women dealing with the diagnosis of Prostate and Bladder Cancer.

For 2 1/2 years she worked solo in a GP clinic locally, building a practice from the ground up and focussing on delivering quality care to a small community. She worked hard to maintain the overwhelming response from the locals and was able to tailor her approach to medicine. After 20 years of working in hospitals, Peta recognised her true passion for individualised care to patients in the community and realised working at Health Hub Doctors Morayfield was where she truly needed to be.

In her spare time Peta enjoys Crocheting and planning her next holiday. She enjoys living locally with her husband and her Cat. Peta is excited to deliver comprehensive care to the community and likes to dedicate her time to women’s health, antenatal care, sexual health and weight loss management.
